The most common technology for thermochromic coatings is thermochromic pigments, which are microcapsules that change color repeatedly as the temperature rises or falls. They can be used in coating spraying, injection molding and other processes. Overall, thermochromic coatings are more cost-effective.
1. Introduction to Thermochromic Materials
其中，有机可逆感温变色材料是业界关注热点，具有感温变色范围宽、变色明显、色彩鲜艳、变色灵敏度高、生产制造成本低等特点。
1. Organic reversible thermochromic materials
这类有机化合物具有特殊的化学结构，能在特定温度下通过电子转移引起分子结构的变化，从而实现从有色到无色或从无色到有色的转变。
这种特性使得可逆感温变色颜料在颜色变化方面具有优势，相较于重金属复盐络合物型和液晶型变色材料，它可以实现更加鲜明和多变的颜色效果。
2. Thermochromic pigments and microcapsule technology
颜料的内部包含变色物质，而外部则被一层厚约0.2到0.5微米的透明外壳所覆盖。这层外壳既不溶解也不融化，有效地保护了内部的变色物质。

2. Application of Thermochromic Pigments
● 感温水乳液产品平均粒径 3 - 7um，为含微胶囊的水性分散液，固含量约 48%，于水中分解性佳，适用于水性涂料、水中网版印刷、油墨等；
● 感温微胶囊粉平均粒径 3 - 12um，由数种配方组成，含水率≤3%，耐温最高 240℃，耐溶剂性与分散性好，适用于油墨、涂料及塑胶射出、押出；
● 感温色母粒含约 12 - 18% 微胶囊，不同色系材料色彩强度使用比例稍有不同，适用于塑胶射出、押出产品。
