哈通社近日报道，哈萨克斯坦马吉利斯（议会下院）议员阿曼詹·扎马洛夫8日表示，将禁止哈萨克斯坦境内的电子烟销售和消费。他说：“我们决定通过立法修正禁止在哈萨克斯坦销售和消费电子烟。哈萨克斯坦将全面禁止含有烟草的烟油和电子雾化烟的销售和消费。”
据介绍，哈萨克斯坦当前尚未对电子加热烟（IQOS和GLO）征税。与此同时，议员们对医疗保健法典就禁止销售和消费含有烟草的烟油和电子雾化烟问题进行了补充和修改。扎马洛夫称：“将全面禁止在哈萨克斯坦境内销售和消费各种香味的烟油和电子雾化烟。因此，这些概念已从税法中删除。”
